The SuperFlex Pro IPTV is designed to generate additional revenues for service providers by working with already installed traditional DTN/DBS and CATV broadcast networks. IDC can also provide a complete custom configured end-to-end DVB-S2 IPTB system from scratch.

The SuperFlex Pro IPTV 6U chassis supports up to 14 dual carrier hot-swappable satellite receiver blade modules (24+4 transponders) in a single chassis with several built-in decryption options. The SuperFlex Pro IPTV 3U chassis support up to 4 dual carrier hot-swappable satellite receiver blade modulates (6+2 or 8+0 transponders) in a single chassis.

Future Proof Front-End

Dynamically select DVB-S, DVB-S2, or 8PSK Turbo Code for optimal modulation and FEC. Each card can decrypt data and output IPTV streams via dual Gigabit Ethernet interface.

Encryption and Conditional Access

SuperFlex Pro IPTV supports a wide range of options for network security and conditional access including DVB Common Interface CAS, BISS and IDC’s FlexKey decryption, a proved 128-bit AES encryption.

Modular and Configurable

The SuperFlex Pro IPTV is the next generation IPTV product from IDC. It saves power, time and space. The unique blade design provides a 75% space usage reduction, with up to 28 transponders in a 6U rack, and provides a 50% power saving over previous generations of systems. The design of the SuperFlex Pro IPTV is highly modular, allowing the user to determine the modules and configuration best suited to the needs of the network and the content to be delivered. Each module is plug and play and hot‐swappable.

SuperFlex Pro IPTV Chassis

There are two different chassis configurations - all interoperable on the same network with all modules interchangeable between units. The 6U chassis can accommodate up to 14 blades (24 transponders plus 4 for redundancy) and is intended for full sized networks, typically 300 or more channels of SD TV. The 3U chassis configurations support up to 4 blades (8 transponders) and are for smaller numbers of SD channels or for complementary HD channel offerings.
