Ron Clifton
President and Chief Executive Officer

Ron Clifton, is a systems engineer by trade and high-tech CEO by vocation. Since joining IDC as President and CEO in late 1997 he has been successful in leading the company into the newly emerging high growth market for broadband distribution of multimedia data.

Prior to joining IDC Ron was President and CEO of Senstar-Stellar Corporation - a Daimler Benz Aerospace company - growing it into profitability with operations in US, UK, Mexico and Germany. Before that he was General Manager of Zenon Environmental Systems, Inc. - leading international expansion and helping to take the company public in 1996. Previously Ron was with Computing Devices Corporation (now General Dynamics) - as Manager New Product Development and later Director of Surveillance Systems Division. While with CDC, Ron was seconded to Hughes Aircraft Company in California for two years.

Memberships / recognition: Elected to Executive Committee, IEEE Carnahan Conference since 1996, appointed member Canadian NATO Industrial Advisory Group, awarded two patents (1983 and 1996), honorary Kentucky Colonel, Warden of Calling of an Engineer (the Iron Ring ceremony), for Ottawa and Carleton Universities and he is listed in the Canadian Who's Who 2005 Directory. Ron also serves on the Strategic Advisory Boards of Storm Internet Services in Ottawa and ECRM Networks, a VoIP technology company in Halifax.

Ron is an accomplished public speaker and frequent presenter at international conferences, panels, and forums. He has had numerous papers and articles published and have been awarded a number of patents in surveillance technology. He holds a Bachelor's degree of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering (with specialization in computer systems and communications) and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, Canada.

Edward DiCarlo
Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Ed DiCarlo oversees sales, marketing and new product/service development for IDC worldwide. He has served in various senior level positions at Loral Skynet and Loral CyberStar, including; VP General Manager Marketing & Product Management, and VP General Manager for Latin America, and Vice President Europe. He was instrumental in opening and operating sales regions and developing a suite of satellite-based IP and managed data network products. Ed also held the position of Director of Marketing for CBS (Westinghouse) where he was responsible for domestic and international marketing and sales of satellite networks and strategic alliances. He has an engineering degree from Capitol College and an MBA from the University of Baltimore. Ed resides in the Washington DC area.

Susan Robbins Parsons
Chief Financial Officer / Corporate Secretary

Ms. Robbins Parsons has many years of experience in corporate senior management - most recently serving as Vice President of Finance and Corporate Services with Kinaxis Corporation headquartered in Kanata, Ontario. As Chief Financial Officer, she is responsible for the company’s corporate services, which include accounting, finance and legal. She is proficient with both US and Canadian GAAP and holds an MBA from Dalhousie University. She also has solid financial and operational experience and strong background in investor relations.

Gary Carter
Vice President and Chief Technology Officer

Gary is responsible for the development of new products and implementation of cutting-edge applications. He joined International Datacasting in 1987 as Director, Systems Engineering and later held positions as General Manager and President of IDC's US subsidiary. Gary has many years of experience in the communications technology field. Before joining IDC, he worked at Canadian Satellite Communications (CANCOM) in the development of a DIrect-To-Home platfform and the implementation of MSO based cable TV systems. Prior to that he worked in line-of-sight microwave communications at Raytheon Canada, and held product management positions at Varian Canada and General Instrument Canada.

Chris Reinkeluers
Vice President of Operations

Chris heads up IDC's Engineering, Manufacturing and Advanced Development Groups, being responsible for all IDC internal product development and new product research. Managed disciplines include systems, hardware, software, and firmware development. Chris joined International Datacasting in 1991 as a Senior Software Engineer and was promoted to Vice President in 1996. He began his career as a software systems analyst with Cableshare, Inc. and progressed through increased levels of management responsibility with Kellogg-Salada Canada, Inc., Dynacomp Research Corporation, Allied-Signal Aerospace (Canada) and European Helicopter Industries (Canada), Inc.
